The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Accessibility Project (KP-RAP) is implemented through focused components addressing rural connectivity, safety, and institutional strengthening.
Safe and Climate-Resilient Access
Rehabilitation and upgrading of 877.87 km of rural roads and construction of 16 bridges across 23 districts, using climate-resilient and road-safety-compliant designs.
Safe and Affordable School Journeys for Girls
Provision of free transport services for approximately 89,750 girls to improve enrollment, attendance, and safety in selected districts.
Project Management & Institutional Strengthening
Strengthening institutional capacity through establishment of PIU, RAMS, implementation of GBV mitigation measures, DAAB, and specialized consultancies.
